We had so much fun planning and styling Ange + Dunc’s big day. From our first meeting we knew this was going to be a vibrant wedding full of energy and laughs and fab music!
The Mint in Sydney’s CBD provided the perfectly serene sandstone courtyard ceremony. A hidden gem, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.
With Dunc having lots of family from the UK coming over and friends from all over the world they were keen to show off Sydney to their out of town guests. Choosing harbour side Simmer on the Bay in Walsh Bay gave us the ideal blank canvas to bring our couple’s vision to life.
Ange’s incredible black sapphire engagement ring and love of glamorous style provided a great starting point for our styling direction.
The ombre “flower” bomb was by far the styling star of the show created by the incredible Hermetica Flowers. The abundant explosion of pink above the bar provided the wow factor that set the tone for the night ahead, as guests entered the glamorous warehouse cocktail reception. Complimented with assorted sequin draped cocktail tables and elegant lounge areas.
Guests indulged in sumptuous roaming champagne, canapés and food stations, while Best Man and Dj Huw, pumped out some serious floor filling tunes. The dance floor only emptied out for the speeches and continued the fun loving atmosphere the whole night.
