On the eve of a New Year the air is filled with anticipation and excitement for the road ahead. The energy is electrifying. We had such a wonderful 2014 creating amazing weddings and events for our beautiful couples and clients that we are eagerly anticipating the thrills awaiting us in 2015. Our team of fabulous stylists have already been busy researching and developing some sensational style ideas. We see loads of textures coming through – layering, natural textures and organic elements, vibrant and rich colour palettes and lots of unpolished raw metals coupled with flowers and foliage.

Here is a taste of what we are envisaging for 2015.

Moroccan Fiesta

  • Morocco meets Mexico
  • The use of vibrant colours and rich palettes
  • Lush and exotic spaces inspired by furniture and flora of Mexico
  • Wire and wicker furniture
  • Cacti and succulents
  • Warm and inviting moods
  • Copper vessels, candlesticks and votives
  • Full design elements, intricate details and textures
  • Patterned and textures rugs and cushions will love up cosy corners and chill out spaces
  • Mosaic tiles and patterned furnishings
  • Individual handcrafted favours
  • Pastels or bleached neons are being replaced with more boldness, jewel colours like berry reds, aquas, emeralds and navys!

Floral Burst

  • Our ceremony and receptions will be filled with bright and bold colours
  • Table settings will continue to get more swoon worthy with colourful floral and foliage pieces matched with block neutral tones
  • Flowers will be loved up with bolder lines in foliage, tropical plants and branches
  • The more unconstructed, the better
  • Hanging foliage and florals will get bigger and brighter
  • Floral statement pieces will continue to wow guests

  • Bringing the outside in will remain popular matched with a clean neutral palette
  • Rustic Australian aesthetics will become more prevalent
  • Guests will continue to dine feast style
  • Weathered and polished timbers
  • Galvanised metals

  • Foliage table swags
  • Hanging plants

Geometric Prints

  • We are going to see more geometric prints in bright and pastel colours flowing through all style elements
  • Large vessels and vases with geometric designs
  • Table linens and floor rugs in earthy pastels, soft pinks, greys, blues with texture and prints
  • Stationary will also see pops of geometric design
  • Hanging geometric installations filled with foliage and flowers

Brass is up!

  • Gold is going to be replaced with brass accents
  • Florals and candles will be housed in brassy vessels
  • Tarnished decor will create a feeling of the ancient world, rich and decadent
  • Large platters and trays and brassy goblets will hold opulent feasts for guests
  • Brass coupled with timbers and galvanised metals will create contemporary industrial spaces
