As the wind blows across the vast open space, a delicate veil of sand dances above the wild, barren landscape. Exotic and other-worldly, the desert conjures up thoughts of an intimate love affair, uniting against the wilderness together just as you unite against the challenges of life ahead. As the sun dips behind the rolling sand dunes and the clear sky leaves a blanket of cold air over the sand, it is a perfect setting for winter romance. The type of romance that can weather any storm and the type of deep love we all dream of. It was only right that we picked the beautiful desert for this setting.
The deepest plum coloured roses mixed with soft dusty miller and twigs give a wild edge to the tablescape, with tarnished silver goblets adding a seriously luxe rock and roll vibe. A vintage lace covering adds romance and a delicacy so pure that it’s hard not to fall in love with winter in the desert. Winter looks don’t have to be cold and barren. By combining rich, warm tones against stark white lace, you can bring a deliciously fresh yet cosy feel to your wedding day. Dove grey crockery and sumptuous grey linen napkins contrast beautifully with the plum florals, as hand written name cards in copper and mismatched vintage cutlery come together to add the finishing touches to a perfectly warm yet wintery romance.
