Courtney and Massi celebrated their baby shower in style with an al fresco long lunch celebration with an Italian twist.
The stunning private residence needed little help in the styling department with it’s soaring courtyard walls covered in thick, climbing foliage and antique mirrors, magnificent fountain and phenomenal outlook over the Brisbane River.
Guests were greeted with a welcome cocktail from the Aperol Spritz bar complete with custom ‘bambino’ swizzle sticks, along with a sumptuous caviar bar – both adorned with cascading floral features.
Luxe marble tables sat beneath the courtyard’s pillars decorated with trailing lush greenery, white blooms, and fruit with lemons and limes giving pops of colour nestled amongst the foliage. Grey ceramics and linens, gold accents, and modern grey and white stationery created a simple and stylish tablescape with wire chairs and elegant crisp white florals completing the look.
A three course Italian inspired meal was enjoyed by all while guests shared their advice with the parents-to-be on the personalised ‘Words of Wisdom’ cards set at each place.
Tunes from the live guitarist made for a delightful afternoon topped off with a dessert station and popcorn favors for the guests.
